For 19 of those years, Dove has been the executive director of the California Judges Association, but on Saturday she attended her last meeting in that position. At age 65, Dove has decided to retire and see what else is going on in the world.
“It’s a good time to have a new generation of leadership,” Dove said last week. “All the judges I know well are retiring or are retired, and it’s time for somebody new to come in and meet the new ones and have a new outlook.”
