Attorneys representing California consumers say they want their case to be excluded from the settlement because a class has already been certified by a San Francisco Superior Court.

The settlement is “grossly inadequate,” said Eugene Crew, a partner at Townsend and Townsend and Crew, and lead counsel in the California case. “That alone should convince the judge to say thumbs down.”
