Vioxx Site Causes Firms to Blush

With trial lawyers feeling the heat of tort reform on Capital Hill, Kenneth Suggs, president-elect of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, has an urgent message for Sen. Orrin Hatch. A website promising millions in Vioxx settlements that Sen. Hatch recently pointed to as a prime example of plaintiff suits run amuck, isn't the work of trial lawyers at all. Instead, it looks to be the work of a mysterious 29-year-old Ontarian who identifies himself on a hacking bulletin board as Leon Master.
