Mark LeHocky has served as general counsel at Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, headquartered in Oakland, Calif., since 2000. The company, which dates back to the 1920s, is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Switzerland-based Nestle. In the United States, Dreyer’s manufactures and distributes a wide range of products, including Haagen-Dazs and other brands of ice cream and frozen desserts. LeHocky took the in-house position after spending 20 years as a civil litigator specializing in antitrust, intellectual property and commercial disputes. LeHocky received his undergraduate degree from UCLA and his law degree from University of California, Berkeley’s Boalt Hall School of Law. He was interviewed by Steven Pressman, editor of GC California magazine.
