Competition for tech lawyers in the Pacific Northwest toughened up Monday as Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe opened up shop in Seattle, a move that will expand its relationship with Venture Law Group and enables the firm to tap into the region’s technology market.
To manage the new office, Orrick plucked Stephen Graham, a top technology lawyer, from Seattle’s Perkins Coie. While Graham assumed his new role Monday, his Orrick colleagues were focused on recruiting associates from his team at Perkins.
