Olga Mack has left her post as general counsel for San Francisco-based ClearSlide Inc.

She joined the sales engagement company in June 2015.

ClearSlide was acquired by Ottawa, Ontario-based software company Corel Corp. in mid-December.

Mack confirmed her departure, although she did not comment directly on Corel's acquisition of the company.

Mack said she is currently taking some time off, but “at some point [she] will take on another GC opportunity.”

Mack's LinkedIn profile lists her as an organizer and curator for the TEDx Emerald Glen Park chapter in California. “I am doing it for my community,” Mack said, noting it is not a full-time position.

She will also continue as an adjunct professor for University of California, Berkeley School of Law, where she has taught since 2015.

Mack's LinkedIn profile indicates she left ClearSlide in December. It appears ClearSlide's other in-house counsel will not be joining Corel's team. In a Dec. 12 press release, the companies said: “Corel welcomes team members from ClearSlide's sales, marketing, product management, and development groups.”

Neither ClearSlide nor Corel responded for comment.

Prior to ClearSlide, Mack worked as an assistant general counsel for online dating platform Zoosk Inc. She also held in-house positions with Yahoo Inc., Visa Inc. and the Pacific Art League.
