A dentist in San Antonio and his dental company added Baker & Hostetler and two current and two former lawyers to a multimillion-dollar lawsuit they filed against two dental management companies. The plaintiffs allege that the dental companies breached a service contract and unilaterally closed down the dentist's practice in San Antonio and Houston.

In a second amended original petition filed in Dallas County on June 8, Dr. Emerico Gomez and his company, Care for Kids of Texas, allege that Baker & Hostetler and the lawyers represented them while also representing the dental management companies, causing damages to them. The lawyer defendants are Baker & Hostetler Houston partner Charles Thomas Kruse and associate Sanja Muranovic, and former partner Todd Yaross and associate Julie Marie Woolley, both of Columbus.

Other defendants are American Dental Partners (ADPI) and subsidiary CFK of Texas, and A Tooth Doctor for Kids Dallas.
