Greenberg Traurig partner David Miller on Wednesday previewed some of the arguments that his client, a former employee at the cryptocurrency platform Coinbase, is likely to bring in what U.S. Attorney Damian Williams of the Southern District of New York has described as the first cryptocurrency insider trading tipping scheme.

Miller and Harris St. Laurent & Wechsler partner Andrew St. Laurent represent Ishan Wahi, who was arrested July 21 in Seattle alongside his brother Nikhil Wahi. Both men pleaded not guilty to wire fraud and wire fraud conspiracy at their arraignment Wednesday before U.S. District Judge Loretta Preska of the Southern District of New York
