LexisNexis has allegedly begun tying access to its array of legal publications, both print and electronic, to the purchase of its Lexis Advance research tool, and law librarians at Am Law 200 firms are not happy about it.

The American Association of Law Libraries on Thursday sent a cease and desist letter to the New York-based legal information giant, demanding the company abandon its new sales practice, which it says began in July 2017.
