Capitol ReportFollowing is a listing of executive and legislative action for the week of May 4. The Pennsylvania Senate was in recess at press time, subject to recall by Senate President Pro Tempore Joe Scarnati, R-Jefferson, on 12 hours' notice. The state House of Representatives was in recess, and was scheduled to return to session Monday. Both chambers were practicing social distancing, with senators allowed to vote remotely and state representatives able to vote by proxy through party whips.
