Three Firms Settle a Pellicano Civil Suit

Three law firms and six lawyers have settled a civil suit alleging they hired private eye Anthony Pellicano to wiretap Kissandra Cohen, who had filed a suit against her former employer, Masry & Vititoe, as well as Lynberg & Watkins and Gaims, Weil, West & Epstein. Cohen alleged that the firms wiretapped her while litigating her sexual discrimination suit against Masry & Vititoe. The settlement comes amid a probe that has implicated some of the biggest names in L.A.'s legal and entertainment circles.
