Georgia's February Bar Pass Rate Dips to 18-Year Low

Just over half of those who sat for Georgia's February bar examination passed -- the lowest pass rate since July 1984. Only 55.1 percent passed, or 263 of the 477 examinees. Emory University School of Law and the University of Georgia School of Law were bright spots, with pass rates that increased since last February's exam, but there seems to be no single explanation for the lower overall pass rate.
