Enron CLE Course's Handling Rankles Some Texas Bar Members

A State Bar of Texas-sponsored continuing legal education course on the issues surrounding the fall of Enron almost collapsed like the energy giant. According to the chair of the State Bar's CLE Committee, an advertisement for the March 1 course was pulled in the middle of a promotional blitz. Several lawyers allege Bar politics played a role in the attempt to derail the class, but others say that's just not so.
