Sports Bar Hit With $2.25M Sexual and Racial Harassment VerdictA federal jury has found Atlanta-based Jocks & Jills Restaurants and its chairman and controlling shareholder liable for $2.25 million for engaging in vulgar sexual and racial harassment of the chain's highest-ranking female manager. The verdict followed six years of litigation; the plaintiff lost an earlier district court discrimination suit but an 11th Circuit panel ordered a new trial. Plaintiffs lawyer Edward Buckley said the case involved "some of the ugliest facts I've ever seen."
