Legal Sector Loses 1,100 Jobs in AprilThe legal sector shed 1,100 positions in April, according to the latest employment report released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. It marked the second month in a row of four-digit losses for that group. Since April of last year, the legal sector has lost a total of roughly 28,000 jobs. The latest legal job figures contrast with the overall addition of 290,000 jobs to the U.S. economy last month.
