Dewey & LeBoeuf said Thursday it will close three offices in order to focus resources in major worldwide capital markets. Shearman & Sterling has parted company with its Mannheim, Germany, office, which has broken away to launch its own firm. The break-off was announced to partners in an internal e-mail Tuesday, with Shearman set to lose around 30 lawyers, including nine partners.
