Computer-memory giant Western Digital Corp.’s chief legal officer, Michael Ray, will depart this week after nearly a quarter century at the company, one of Silicon Valley’s oldest.

San Jose, California-based Western Digital revealed in a regulatory filing this month that Ray will exit as executive vice president, CLO and corporate secretary this Friday “to pursue another opportunity.” The filing did not reveal what that is, and the company and Ray did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
