Florida's data privacy legislation died this session as lawmakers couldn't resolve their differences before the clock ran out. The bill passed in the House of Representatives on April 21, and in the Senate on April 29. However, the two bills differed; and, a reconciliation was not achieved before the session ended on April 30.
