The RICO case against President-elect Donald Trump for an alleged conspiracy to overturn the results of the 2020 election in Georgia will now face an even bigger uphill battle after his election win on Nov. 5, a nationally-known public interest law professor predicted.

Professor of Public Interest Law at George Washington University Law School John F. Banzhaf said in a press release Wednesday that the RICO charges against Trump are unlikely to go to trial "for at least four years," due to his presidency win and his pending appeal to remove Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis from prosecuting the case over alleged misconduct.
