SkyWest to operate new fleet for Delta

SkyWest Inc. said Friday it will operate 10 new regional jets for Delta Connection, replacing 20 older, smaller aircraft.Delta Air Lines Inc. had already ordered the jets, which will be operated by Skywest's Atlantic Southeast Airlines subsidiary. ASA has 149 planes and is the main Delta Connection carrier at Atlanta.The 10 CRJ900 aircraft have 76 leather seats divided between coach and a front cabin.

Massachusetts, joining at least seven other states, now has a law that will provide whistleblowers with a cut of any money they help the state recover. The Massachusetts law has much stronger protections against employer retaliation than the False Claims Act, its federal counterpart, and allows remedies including emotional distress damages, reinstatement, double back pay, and attorneys' fees.
