Adam Bercovici has spent 30 years with the LAPD, retiring as the Officer-in-Charge Lieutenant II,
Homicide -Special Section, Robbery-Homicide Division in 2012. He has led the most elite police
investigative units in American law enforcement.

Adam was also the CEO of Critical Solutions Protective Services Group from 2010 to 2017, a licensed
security company that provided both security guard and off-duty police officers to two of the most
high-profile retail centers in California. He is also a licensed private investigator in California and
Oregon.

As a Lieutenant in the LAPD, Adam was the Officer in Charge of The FBI Violent Crime Task Force-
Los Angeles, Criminal Investigation Section, Joint Terrorism Task Force, The Special Investigation
Section and Homicide Special Section- Robbery Homicide Division.

Adam has worked nationally and internationally in both the public and private sector and have
maintained a strong network of professional relationships.

In the Entertainment Industry he has worked as on-camera expert-talent.

Adam is regularly sought out by major media outlets, Fox Affiliates, CNN, The Los Angeles Times,
Chicago Tribune, Parade Magazine and The San Francisco Chronicle, for commentary on police
practices.
As an expert Adam has focused on complex police investigations and accountability, Brady issues,
criminal conspiracy, public safety employment, K9 operations use of force by police officers and
security guards (including deadly force), general police tactics, undercover tactics, kidnapping,
private security and private investigator operations liability and labor practices.
