              Biographical  Hughes has over 35 years of experience in structural, civil and  architectural engineering including
              Sketch:           design,  inspection and safety analysis of structures. He has investigated over 4,000 structures for
                           deficiencies, code violations or substandard construction practices. Cases cover a continuum of industrial
                           facilities, commercial and residential structures and transportation systems including bridges and
                           highways. Examples of previous design projects include CIA headquarters, Langley, VA; Bridge over
                           Nile River in Khartoum, Sudan; Temple University Hospital addition, Philadelphia; Hershey Medical
                           Center Parking Garage, Hershey, PA; Valvoline Oil Office Building, Rochester, PA. A sample of
                           investigative projects include the 9/11 Shanksville crash site, building collapses, automobile injuries
                           involving bridges, guard rails and poor highway geometrics and injuries in residential homes and public
                           facilities. His individualized approach to each case involves quantifiable statistics and technological
                           investigation.

                           OSHA Certification Training, 30-Hour
                           Significant courtroom experience testifying as an expert witness
