            ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
              Elliott Dudnik has served as a technical consultant and expert witness in more than 135 court cases and dozens of building failure, handicapped-
              accessibility, architectural practice, construction defects, or building code related matters. He has consulted for private institutions, corporations,
              and individuals, as well as governmental or public entities including Northwestern University, Village of Wilmette, The Adler Planetarium, City
              of Evanston, and City of Chicago, where he served as expert on several high-rise facade failures and both the Epitome 2 Nightclub and 713
              Wrightwood Porch Collapse tragedies. He has taught undergraduate and graduate level architectural design, construction, structural engineering,
              environmental controls, professional practice, and computer-aided design at universities in the US and abroad. Aside from his award-winning
              professional practice, he developed and taught Building Inspector Training and Porch Construction-Evaluation courses for the City of Chicago,
              served on several AIA, ASCE, and ASTM technical committees as well as committees to develop a new Chicago Building Code. He served more
              than six years as a Commissioner and as Secretary of the Evanston Preservation Commission. Dr. Dudnik has lectured worldwide, authored nearly
              50 scholarly papers, and received more than 30 research grants and fellowships. In 2011, he was named a Fellow of the AIA for his contributions
              to the architectural profession.  He now serves as Chair of the State Universities Annuitants Association Foundation Executive Committee and as a
              Trustee of the AIA Chicago Foundation Board.
