The percentage of Georgia law school graduates passing the Georgia bar examination in July dropped for the second consecutive year, with 77.8 percent of first-time takers passing.

Last year, the passage rate among the 11,195 test-takers who took the test for the first time was 83 percent, down from 86 percent in the previous year. This year, there were 11,206 applicants scheduled to take the test.
