It’s no secret that the forms of e-communication have multiplied: text messaging, instant messaging, and social networking are prevalent, and according to a study by Vlingo Corp., (www.vlingo.com) more than half of consumers now use text messaging.

Forrester Research Inc. (www.forrester.com) found that 25% of consumers visit social networking sites at least once a month. Most estimates of IM users within corporations start at tens of millions.
