Here's a travel ban case with a twist: testimony from live witnesses in court.

Overruling objections from the government, a federal judge in Washington D.C. on Tuesday will hear from two witnesses as she considers whether to pile on and enjoin President Trump's executive order temporarily banning travel from six majority-Muslim countries.

It will be the first time any judge in a travel ban challenge has allowed witnesses at the preliminary injunction stage. The move seems distinctly advantageous to the plaintiffs, especially since one witness is a partner at Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton who presumably knows a thing or two about talking in court.
