In a one-two punch, Florida's largest firm won a decisive victory in court with a jury neglecting to find an accident victim was due any financial compensation.
Cole, Scott & Kissane partners Michele Morales and Gary Lewis secured a defense verdict in an admitted-liability case, where the plaintiff, an Army veteran and paramedic, sought $7.9 million in damages, including $6.1 million for pain and suffering.
The jury returned a zero-dollar verdict.
