On May 10, 2016, plaintiff Thomas Worosz Jr., 78, was driving north on Susquehanna Trail, in Watts Township. The front of Worosz's sedan struck the side of a vehicle that was driving south and attempting to turn left in front of Worosz. Worosz claimed injuries to his neck, shoulder, back and knee.

On Aug. 3, 2017, plaintiff Alma Warren, 51, a service coordinator, was driving on Cowpath Road, near its intersection at Line Street, in Montgomery Township. Her sport utility vehicle's rear end was struck by a trailing vehicle that was being driven by Crystal Beatriz Guzman. Warren's vehicle was propelled forward, and it resultantly struck the rear end of a preceding vehicle.
