"Even though the providers made that claim, it is apparent that the insurance carriers continued to charge premiums for malpractice," Robert C. Lubus Jr. of Grady & Riley said. "Here, the Connecticut Supreme Court made it clear that in order to use the executive order as a shield, the malpractice had to have some relation to COVID or to a lack of resources caused by COVID.
