A state appeals court has thrown out several major claims that a former head makeup artist who spent 22 years working for the Charlie Rose Show had leveled against the once-famed talk show host in a discrimination, harassment and labor lawsuit.

Much of the former makeup artist’s 2019-filed suit, in which she details Rose allegedly “preying” on female staff for years at a TV studio described as a “sexual hunting ground,” is no longer alive. The makeup artist, Gina Riggi, previously withdrew age discrimination and retaliation claims, along with one of her state Labor Law claims, from the action, according to a lower-court ruling.
