Court Finds Town Overvalued Property for Tax Assessment Purposes
Defendant moved to dismiss plaintiff's title VII religious discrimination and retaliation claim over his termination for refusing to get a required COVID vaccine and court found plaintiff identified no religious belief that prevented his taking the vaccine and, thus, defendant did not violate Title VII by not providing an accommodation and plaintiff presented no facts to suggest disparate treatment or religious retaliation. Motion granted.

Although officers displayed authority by blocking defendant and commanding him to stop, no seizure occurred where defendant's momentary pause followed by running from the officers meant he never complied with the officers' authority, and his flight gave the officers reasonable suspicion to detain him. Conviction affirmed, judgment of sentence vacated and remanded for resentencing.
The parties entered into a contract for appellee to sell a home to appellant but, at the time of the contract and as of the closing date, appellee did not own the property.
