Facing allegations by a certified class of millions of Netflix customers that Netflix and Wal-Mart colluded to divvy up the market for DVD sales and rentals, Wal-Mart opted to settle last summer in a deal worth nearly $30 million. But Netflix and its lawyers at Wilson Sonsini fought on, and their gamble paid off last Tuesday when a federal judge in Oakland agreed to throw out the plaintiffs' claims.
