Woman Sent to Jail for Smoking Around Kids
A Caroline County, Va., woman was sentenced Thursday to 10 days in jail for defying a court order not to smoke. Domestic Relations District Judge John H. Thomas last year barred Tamara Silvius, 44, from lighting up around her children, now ages 8 and 10, as part of her shared custody arrangement with her ex-husband.
