John �Jack' McGannon, 75, was Partner at Townsend

Former Townsend and Townsend and Crew partner John L. �Jack� McGannon died March 27 of natural causes following a battle with Parkinson's disease. He was 75. McGannon joined the San Francisco firm formerly known as Townsend & Townsend in 1965, and rose to partner. McGannon, one of the first full-time lawyers in the firm's Palo Alto office, represented clients from large corporations to individual inventors.
