Happy Tuesday! Welcome to the Supreme Court Brief! The justices are set to hear a major case in February over liability immunity for platforms over what their users post extends also to what they recommend to users. We checked in with attorneys who filed an amicus brief on behalf of a group of content creators in support of protections for Google and other online platforms. Plus, we preview of other cases going before the high court as well as some Kavanaugh news that’s not linked to his opinion on college rankings and instead focuses on his views of Chevron and the major questions doctrine.

As always, thanks for reading and we welcome feedback and tips. Contact Avalon Zoppo at [email protected] and follow her on Twitter @AvalonZoppo. You can find Brad Kutner at [email protected] and @bradkutner.
