"More lawyers of color need to be involved in firm leadership," he said. "Having owned a minority-owned law firm, I know that it was inspiring for our lawyers of color to see diverse leadership. It made our lawyers of color feel safe and accepted. When lawyers of color see diverse lawyers in leadership, they know that the firm is serious about diversity and inclusion."
