A federal judge has tossed a law firm’s civil RICO lawsuit against a judgment collector specializing in Telephone Consumer Protection Act cases, ruling that the firm’s case was a “dud.”

U.S. District Judge Joshua Wolson of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania granted defendants James Shelton and his company Final Verdict Solutions’ motion to dismiss plaintiff Jacovetti Law’s lawsuit.
