I saw there was a proposed amendment to the Rules of Professional Conduct dated Aug. 13, concerning financial assistance to clients. Is this a good rule change or should it be opposed?

On Aug. 16, published in the Legal Intelligencer, was the Aug. 13 letter of Marcee Sloan, prothonotary to the Disciplinary Board publishing the proposed rule change. There was a comment time period until Sept. 27.
