Patrick D. Doran of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney has entered an appearance for Threesixty Group Inc., the Hong Kong-based owner of the FAO Schwartz toy store brand, in a pending trademark infringement lawsuit. The action was filed Nov. 9 in Pennsylvania Eastern District Court by Petock & Petock on behalf of Italian-born artist Remo Saraceni, creator of the ‘Big Piano’ featured in the 1988 movie ‘Big.’ The suit accuses Threesixty of displaying an imitation ‘Big Piano’ and selling knock-off piano mat toys since reopening FAO Schwartz in 2018. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Mark A. Kearney, is 2:21-cv-04947, Saraceni v. Threesixty Group, Inc. et al.
