U.S. District Judge Chad Kenney of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania found there was no evidence that supported Celiena McClelland's claims that she was the subject of unlawful employment discrimination and retaliation by the firm and its director of financial operations, Elaine Wry.
In a June 2021 complaint, McClelland, who is African American, alleged that on many occasions Wry would contact billing members asking them questions about her for no apparent reason, something McClelland claimed that Wry did not do to non-African Americans.
