On June 21, 2019, plaintiff Courtney Sladek, 30, an accountant, was bitten on the right hand and wrist by a pit bull terrier owned by Andrew Canale. The incident occurred outside her Woodlyn apartment. Canale owned the property and lived in the apartment next door.
