On March 18, 2022, plaintiff Eric Brister, 34, was a passenger in a ride-hailing vehicle being driven by Carlos Hernandez-Nunez on Interstate 76 in Philadelphia. The vehicle struck the rear of a vehicle being operated by Sandeep Pangarkar of Sixt Rent A Car LLC. Brister claimed neck and back injuries.
