On July 14, 2021, plaintiff William Green, 39, a barber, was operating a motor bike that came into contact with a depression near a trolley track owned by Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority. Green was ejected from his bike. Green's counsel alleged that SEPTA was negligent in allowing a dangerous condition to exist.

On Dec. 3, 2019, plaintiff Patrick Clemmons, 50, a truck driver, was pulled off the side of Route 30 west outside Philadelphia. The rear of his tractor-trailer was struck by the front of a tractor-trailer driven by Randy Lehr, of Ecore International Inc. Clemmons claimed head, neck and back injuries.
