Intellectual property litigators Terry Ahearn and Stuart Bartow have joined Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie as co-managing partners of the firm's office in Menlo Park, California.

Ahearn was most recently a partner at McDermott Will & Emery, where he worked with Bartow until 2015, when the latter left for Paul Hastings. Before they overlapped at McDermott, Bartow and Ahearn crossed paths at Townsend and Townsend and Crew, where they were both associates in the early 2000s.

The IP duo found that Ahearn's highly organized personality and case management skills complemented Bartow's technical expertise. Bartow has several science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) degrees, including an M.S. in operations research from Columbia University, and is a registered patent attorney.
