Foley & Lardner has dipped into DLA Piper’s ranks again with the hire of corporate senior associate André Thiollier, who joins the firm in Silicon Valley months after Foley brought on a nine-attorney corporate deal team led by former DLA Piper rainmaker Louis Lehot.

Thiollier, who had been at DLA since 2014, joins the firm as partner and brings cross-border experience to the firm. He primarily represents Latin American companies, both early-stage and late-stage, and private equity funds in countries including Brazil, Mexico and Chile that are looking to invest in the United States. Thiollier spent more than a decade practicing in Brazil before he moved his practice to the U.S.
