None of the members of the iconic punk band The Ramones were actually named “Ramone,” but the widow of the guitarist known as “Johnny Ramone” is accused of misusing the name to profit from the band’s legacy, according to a suit filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.

A complaint filed Friday by Mitchel Hyman, whose brother Jeffrey “Joey Ramone” Hyman died in 2001, said Linda Cummings-Ramone has violated terms of settlements that give them equal control of the band’s intellectual property.
