Wilson Sonsini Team Helps Go Daddy in Acquisition

Wilson Sonsini represented web hosting company Go Daddy in its acquisition by an investment group that includes Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, Silver Lake Partners, and Technology Crossover Ventures. Financial terms of the deal were not officially disclosed, but the investors are reportedly paying about $2.25 billion for the biggest domain name registrar in the world.

Companies raising venture capital saw improved valuations for the fourth quarter in a row, according to Fenwick & West's Second Quarter 2010 Silicon Valley Venture Capital Survey.
