Carey Olsen recruits ex-CC lawyer for Guernsey baseCarey Olsen has grown its Guernsey arm with the hire of corporate partner Christopher Anderson from Bedell Cristin. Anderson joined the firm's corporate and finance team this week after three years at Bedell, becoming the sixth partner in the group. Prior to Bedell, Anderson worked at legacy Ozannes, Clayton Utz and Clifford Chance. He specialises in investment funds and insurance and reinsurance and has also worked with clients in the private equity sector.

Eversheds posts H1 results with turnover down 3% over six monthsEversheds has announced its half-year financial results, reporting a 3% drop in turnover against the same period in 2009-10. The firm saw revenue fall to £172.6m, down from the figure of £178m reported last year.
