Calling it an "anti-vaccination" bill, Gov. Tom Wolf on July 1 vetoed Senate Bill 618, which would expressly reject the issuance of "vaccine passports" and curb the power of the Department of Health.

The Pennsylvania Senate on June 24 voted to ban the requirement of "vaccine passports." Senate Bill 618, which was sponsored by Sen. Judy Ward, R-Blair, is aimed at preventing the excess use of power by the state secretary of health while ensuring the protection of public health.
