DLA Piper Names New Prague ChiefCommercial partner Peter Valert has taken over as managing partner of DLA Piper's Prague office. Valert -- who also heads up the 12-lawyer Sofia, Bulgaria, office and leads the Central and Eastern European technology, media and commercial practice -- replaces Joerg Nuernberger in the management role. Valert, a former legal adviser to the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will continue to lead the Sofia branch, while Nuernberger will concentrate on his role as head of the Prague corporate practice.
